Hi Everyone,
We hope you and your family are doing well! As part of the District’s Learning at Home plan, our class will be using myBlueprint. MyBlueprint captures student learning in a variety of multimedia forms and provides a more complete representation of each child’s learning. Through the reflection process, students gain a better understanding about themselves and set new learning goals and targets. It is a completely free tool, accessible on any device, through any web browser and is FOIPPA compliant. We’ll be taking it very slow, but would like to get started on it right away as a way to “hand in” student work. This should keep things much more organized than email, and will allow us to have separate portfolios for each student. Here’s how to get set up! MyBlueprint is accessible by using your child’s Office 365 log-in credentials. Please help your child log in as follows: 1) On your device, open a web browser (Explorer, Chrome, Safari). 2) In the URL bar, type in myblueprint.ca/sd35 3) Select the green button School Account Login 4) This will take you to Langley School District’s sign in page. Your child’s email address / login is: A. your child’s first initial and last name (if the last name is hyphenated, remove the hyphen and space, resulting in 1 long name) B. Followed by the last four digits of their pupil # (which you can find on myEdBC. Please remind your child that they should not share their pupil number). C. Followed by @ langleyschools.ca Here are a few examples of what a username would look like:
We will be communicating more information to you when the class is set up on myBlueprint. As myBlueprint is new to many teachers and students, we will all need to take time to learn how it works. Your support is appreciated! Sincerely, Mrs. Ghoury and Ms. Gebert
