Week at a Glance
Welcome to week 4 of Division 12 online learning!
This week we'll have a Zoom Social on Thursday at Noon. We hope you and your child are able to join the meeting (if you can-no pressure). This week's meeting will be another community circle where I unmute each child's mic one at a time and give each child a chance to share. However, this week I thought it would be fun if we did a "Show and Tell". If you plan on having your child attend, please help them choose of one thing they'd really like to share with the class, and have them prepare their thoughts so they can explain why they chose it, what makes it special to them, etc. It should be under 1 minute. Thanks!
I've sent the meeting information via email. All you'll need to do is click the link at the scheduled time of the meeting, Thursday just before noon, (if you haven't used Zoom before then you'll need to download it to your computer but this is very simple and fast) and it'll take you to the waiting room. From there I will let you in (as long as I recognize your email-if you're using a different email than I'm used to seeing please let me know in advance)! A HUGE thank you to Sam's mom (Tanya) for helping us out with this Zoom-tech stuff. She's taken time out of her busy schedule to walk people through the process of logging in. What a life saver! Hopefully this week's meeting will go smoothly. Thank you all for your patience in this matter. Overall our first meeting was a huge success. The kids did a fantastic job being respectful and it was so nice hearing from each of them.
Above are this weeks suggested activities for your child. Please try and use your child's My BluePrint Portfolio this week. It helps keep things organized allows us to see each child's work and progress very clearly. If uploading the work daily is not reasonable for you at this time, please feel free to do it all at once at the end of each week. Some of you are using the "Class Pass" App and are loving how easy it makes things. If you'd like to join them please email me and ask me for your child's QR Code.

As always, please remember that this is "Crisis Learning" and we recognize that you may not be able to complete each task planned for the week ahead. Please focus attention on reading, writing, and math, and do your best.
Under the Weekly Checklist tab, please click the appropriate day for lesson plans or links to support the activities laid out in the weekly overview.
Below are the math sheets we'll be working on this week. Feel free to print them out, or simply use them like a textbook (look at the questions and record your answers in your workbook. Just be sure to title your pages).
