Happy Wednesday!
“Don’t let what you can’t do stop you from doing what you can do.” – John Wooden
Please remember to go easy on yourself this week. Take care of yourself and your family first, and if you're feeling good then check in on a friend. :)

A Closer Look at Wednesday:
Wellbeing & Connection:
First, open your workbook and set up your page. The title can be "Journal".
Next, check in with yourself. How are you feeling today? Draw the emoji that matches your mood.
Third, choose one section of the page to that you haven't done yet: Self-Care Tip, Think About It, Character Trait of the Day, or you can choose to draw a picture of someone being helpful. Rainbow Breaths is an exercise you can do every day, as often as you like-no writing necessary! 😊
Four, get to it!

Writing:
Please write a note to Mrs. Gebert and myself (just one note). This can be in your workbook or typed out. No name, date or title necessary since this is a letter. Simply address it to us with a nice greeting. Example: Dear Mrs. Ghoury and Ms. Gebert.
Let us know how you're feeling and doing with everything going on. How are you spending your time? Have you been up to anything exciting? How did you do with your school work yesterday? Do you have any suggestions for us? Are you hanging in there? It's up to you what you say. We just want to hear from you!

Reading:
Wednesdays are all about Buddy Reading! Connect with a classmate or family member and read over the phone/video chat. Had enough tech? Then cozy up and read to a sibling or parent.

Math:
Do these questions in your workbook (title can be Word Problems), or on a whiteboard. OR take it outside and write them on cement with chalk! Please remember to line up your place values and show your work. Don't forget to put your answer in a complete sentence, and then check your answers with a calculator.

Challenge: Create your own word problem and answer key, then send a picture of the question to a friend in our class. Ask them to create one for you too!
Playful Possibilities:
Sculpture Garden: Collect objects, such as sticks and rocks, around the yard or park that can be used to make a wind chime, an animal shape, a lucky charm, or an item to decorate your home. Make as many as you like!
